Aside from the ever popular RV and tent camping campgrounds, you will find that many South Dakota campgrounds also offer glamping and other rental options. If you prefer sleeping closer to nature but aren’t traveling with an RV or a tent, search for Other Lodging Options. Many South Dakota campgrounds and RV parks offer cabins, yurts, lodges, covered wagons, tipis, safari tents, and other rental options. Glamping is alive and well in South Dakota!

Camp S Dakota is a product line that includes this website and the printed guide. They’re provided by the South Dakota Campground Owners Association (SDCOA) to assist camping enthusiasts in locating some of the finest of South Dakota’s campgrounds and RV parks. These are offered FREE to you, although we ask you to mention us when you register at a campground or use any of the resources mentioned here.

SDCOA is South Dakota’s professional association for campground owners and managers. Our members receive a robust benefits package which includes, among many things, marketing of their facilities. Our staff provides members with concierge service to assist with empowering members with their benefits. We are partnered with the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (arvc).
